Today, St Cuthbert’s has a thriving congregation and continues to maintain its long-standing choral tradition.

Parish life is busy and varied. Our Church community support a wide range of activities including:​ the Cuthie’s Choir, Our Pastoral Care Team, Junior Church, Mothers’ Union, SCADS (Amateur Dramatics), Church Walking Group, Pop Up Café and a variety of other groups and activities that support the spiritual, social, and pastoral life of the parish.

Some of the local, national and international organisations supported include The Diocese of Blackburn, St. Cuthbert’s Church of England Primary School, St. Stephen’s CE Primary School, International Aid, Darwen Food Larder, Childline, Christian Aid, The Children’s Society and Nightsafe to name a few!
